Ice Cream Cone pops

I found these little ice cream cones at the grocery store last week, and thought they were soooo cute.  I filled them with cake batter, baked them, put a little bit of icing on top, then topped it with a chocolate covered cake pop.  It's hard to get a nice dome on an ice cream cone, so I made it my way.  A few sprinkles and it really looks like an ice cream cone.  They are very easy to do.

Samoa Cupcakes

My kids love samoa cookies, and when I saw this recipe I knew I had to try it.  Personally, I think samoa's are disgusting, but alot of people don't share my opinion. lol
The cake is chocolate coconut with caramel icing and toasted coconuts shavings with a little chocolate drizzle.

Half-Moon cupcakes and cookies

Half-moon cookies are a cake-like cookie.  I've always made them just as cookies, (right one in the pic), but I decided to do them as cupcakes too.  The letter that came with the recipe for these stated that a bride requested this cookie to be done in her wedding cake. So, I figured if they can do it in a cake, it can be done in a  cupcake.  Usually the chocolate is done on half the cookie, and the icing on the other.  I covered the top of the cupcake in the chocolate, then the buttercreme on half.

Valentine Oreo's

Has anyone tried the new Berry oreo's?  I'm not much of an oreo fan, but these are really good.  I'm sure the chocolate covered oreo fans will really enjoy them.

Valentine cupcake

Chocolate cupcake with red icing. The top is 'gently' cut off the top. You need to make sure you put extra batter in the paper to make it dome.  When you cut off the top, you 'very gently'  use a small heart cookie cutter, and cut a heart in the center.  Ice the tip of the cupcake before putting the top back on.  I used a star tip to fill in the heart.  Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cake to finish it off.

Peanut Butter/Banana Cupcakes

This is a delicious cupcake.  I'm not usually an icing lover, but this stuff could be eaten by the spoonful.lol   I have  always liked splitting a banana and putting peanut butter in the center.  A very good snack...  So, why not put it into cupcake form?
