Pizzeles,pizzeles,pizzeles.............

I made pizzele's for christmas today too.  Got 12 dozen of the little buggers. My kids love these cookies, but I only make them once or twice a year. They aren't hard to make, they are just soooooooo time consuming. lol.

First, you make the dough,

Then you roll the dough in little balls,

Then you put them on the pizzelle iron,

Bake them,

Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!

12 dozen is alot of pizzele's.

Peanut Blossom Cookies

These were always my favorite cookie growing up. My grandmother and mom always made these. I have been making them since my kids were little. I hope to continue the recipe with them too.

I made these cookies for Kathryn (Stephen's gf) to take home with her for Thanksgiving.

Cookies for daughter

I did these cookies for my daughters social work mentor. She is finished with her internship, and wanted something to say thanks to all the ladies she has worked with. I would like for them to be a little better, but you can't have everything. lol

Birthday Cookies

I made these cookies for my niece and her daughter. They have bd's on July 11 and 12, so I combined them.
The second pic is for my nephew. Didn't want him to feel left out, so I made him some summer cookies.
They are sugar cookies covered in fondant.

Happy Easter everyone

These are some cookies I did for Easter. The first pic has some chocolate covered oreo's I did in the bottom of the basket. If you have never tried these they are fun to do. My molds came from Spinningleaf. They are a very nice company and they send you an extra mold (their choice) when you order. My freebie was the flower mold. Which was very nice to have for easter.

Dress and Frog cookies

Just a couple new cutters that I got this week. I love the frog.

Half-moon cookies

These cookies are called half-moon cookies. My son's gf is from Buffalo, NY, and there is a bakery there that makes these. She loves them so I decided to try and make some for her bd. They aren't that hard to make, just alot of steps to the finished product. They are more cake than cookie. Very moist and chocolately. Some people would call these black and white cookies, but they are not the typical vanilla cookie you get with a b&w. The cookie part of these are chocolate. ummmmmmmm. I hope she likes them. They are not a cookie I would make all the time, but I have extra icing, so I will make them again to use it.

Latest Cookies

These are the latest cookies I have done. I saw them on 'The Flour Pot' blog, and had to do some for myself. They are such a fun idea. The dress is to ask your girlfriends to be attendants for your wedding. The square date announcement is for any important date you don't want family and friends to forget. Who doesn't like receiving a cookie? One that reminds them of a special occasion is even better.

More Steeler Cookies

These are more Steeler Cookies that I made. I intended to send them to WTAE tv station, but I ended up getting a bad cold and couldn't take them myself, so I dismantled the basket. They are still fun cookies. The pics are the front and back of the basket. I did it this way, so you could see cookies from both sides. Don't want to see the backs of cookies.
