FB giveaway

I recently had a guess how many are in the box game on my facebook page.  Didn't get as many entries as I thought I would get, but what can you do. lol. I guess no one was in the mood for cookies.

I read about these on another blog that I read, thanks Pam, and decided to get one. I agree they are a little pricey, but so worth it. My cookies are all now the same size, It made me crazy to just roll out the dough. I always thought it looked even, but when I started cutting out the cookies, they never were. Nothing more irritating than a wide cookie on one side, and a  not so wide cookie on the other. I've tried all the things you put on the ends of the rolling pin, but I still didn't get consistent results. So, I'm very glad Pam had a post on her blog about the doBord. I had never heard of these, but they are terrific. 

Valentine Leni-bits

 

I love little cookies. They are the perfect cookie.  Just enough to taste delish, but not too much.  I made these conversation hearts into leni-bits.  There are 12 of them in the box for $3.00.  Yummmmm. I will be making Steeler cookies for the Super Bowl next.   They will be featured on here by the end of this week.

Neighborhood snow globes

I wanted to give these snowglobes to my neighbors for Christmas, but ran out of time. So, they will receive them for New Years.  I took the pictures on a cloudy day, which is the constant around here, so the pics aren't that great.  We probably won't see the sun till June. Happy New Year

I hope you all had a perfect Christmas holiday. I haven't made any cookies for almost a week. I'm starting to get the 'itch' again. lol.  I'm going to work on some New Years cookies this week, and some 'Winter Classic' for the game next Saturday. I'm a big Penguins fan, so they should be fun to do. Have a good week. I'll post pics as soon as they are ready.
